Awareness about Suicide And its Prevention
Awareness about Suicide And its Prevention (ASAP) is built to equip the people of India with awareness about suicide helping them understand how to prevent it by training gatekeepers for suicide prevention. It aims to place gatekeepers who believe in suicide prevention, in every household. The project is carried out under two parts
1) Awareness About Suicide (AAS)
It focusses on raising awareness about suicide and keeping the dialogue going all around the year.
2) ARISE Gatekeeping model
It focusses on training people as gatekeepers to prevent suicide at a community level. The model is simple and consisting of 5 basic modules that can train a wide range of the population.
